Grandma Hill's Homemade Ice Cream

Oh this is to die for.  I promise!

Small Ice Cream Freezer:
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups sugar
10 cups 1/2 & 1/2
1 1/2 Tbsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Large Ice Cream Freezer:
6 eggs
3 cups sugar
15 cups 1/2 & 1/2
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 tsp salt

Mix eggs and sugar; beat well.  Add 1/2 & 1/2 vanilla and salt.  Mix and freeze by placing ice and ice cream salt around the outside of the ice cream maker.  Let sit for a few hours.  You might have to switch out the ice about half way through.
